The Swiss Sustainability B_enchmark is the first national benchmark assessing business contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Why participate?

Sustainability plays an increasingly important role in strategically managing business risk, environmental impact, and employee engagement aside from strengthening resiliency and reputation, areas that are also becoming essential for tendering and procurement processes.

Collective Action

It is only with the participation of thousands of businesses that we will be able to accurately report on the state of the Swiss private sector, and consequently establish meaningful actions to reach the SDGs and the Confederation’s Agenda 2030

The Swiss Sustainability B_enchmark is designed to help businesses to:

  • Understand their impact on customers, employees, suppliers, the wider community, and the environment compared to best practices in sustainability.

  • Compare their performance to other Swiss businesses through a report to be published end of 2021

  • Get a quick assessment of their performance based on global best practices and standards developed by B Lab

  • Evaluate their overall contribution to the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Accelerate action towards achieving the SDGs

  • Assess the private sector's progress made so far in order to inform the actions that need to be taken to achieve Switzerland's Agenda 2030
